Starting off the New Year with great promise and form, we began the Winter 2008 season with a solid victory. With the goals spread around the midfield and forwards.
Excellent goals from Alex Matveyenko, Enrico Vitturi, John Kim and John Lee (capt.), put away a positive effort from last year's struggling team.
The possession was there and the passing was there.
Although in the second half, we became a little complacent, we did manage to increase our effort and pressure the opponents and garner an additional goal (John Lee's run/push to the goal line) to seal the victory.
The team with new additions Nathan Nowack and Enrico Vitturi look to be very formidable and promising.
Let's keep up the good work and win this damn league already!!!
